1. Which level of membership DO I qualify for?

2. What is a “dedicated” medical intuitive practice?
Many medical intuitives use their intuition combined with an intervention, treatment, or healing service such as energy healing, chiropractic, acupuncture, hypnotherapy, bodywork, conventional or integrative medical practice, and more.
NOMI defines a dedicated medical intuitive practice as an intuitive assessment process that can be provided separately from the practitioner's intervention, treatment, or healing services.

3. Can a NOMI Professional medical intuitive make suggestions and recommendations as part of a medical intuitive session?
Intuitive suggestions and recommendations are recognized as part of a professional Medical Intuition practice, as long as they are used within your legally defined scope of practice, and in adherence to your professional licensures and certifications.
4. Can a NOMI Professional medical intuitive use a pendulum, crystals, or hands-on practices, to assess the physical body and biofield?
Yes! NOMI does not make any distinctions on how a professional medical intuitive may access their intuition to "read" or "scan" the physical anatomy, physiology and biofield. Your practice is unique to you.
However, if your practice is primarily a healing service rather than a dedicated intuitive assessment process, you will not meet NOMI Professional Requirements. But, you can join NOMI as an individual Supporting Member! Please Contact Us with any questions.
5. I am a medical professional who uses my intuition when I work with my patients. Can I join as a Professional Member?

7. I am a medical intuitive with a fee-based and dedicated Medical Intuitive practice. What membership level SHOULD I apply for?

8. I have studied with a mentor/teacher - but I do not yet have a professional medical intuitive practice. What membership level SHOULD I apply for?
You may join us as a NOMI Supporting Member.
9. I am currently studying to become a medical intuitive and may start a professional practice later. What membership level SHOULD I apply for?
You may join as a NOMI Supporting Member.
10. WHAT IS YOUR VETTING PROCESS FOR PROFESSIONAL MEMBER APPLICANTS?
All applications are thoroughly vetted by the NOMI Vetting Committee. If more information is needed the committee will contact you with a specific request.
11. I would like to find a medical intuitive to work with. Can NOMI help?
As our community grows, NOMI plans to offer a directory of our vetted NOMI Professional Medical Intuitives, which will be made available to both the public and to healthcare organizations. Join our mailing list to stay in the loop!
12. I would like to learn how to become a professional medical intuitive. Can NOMI help?
At this time, NOMI does not endorse individual training schools. However, we believe that educational standards are critical for the advancement of the field, as well as the integration of Medical Intuition into mainstream healthcare.
NOMI does not consider purely self-study options, DVDs, streaming videos, books, or short courses to be substantial training in Medical Intuition. We encourage everyone to seek educational opportunities that teach dedicated Medical Intuition skills and offer oversight and guidance from an experienced teacher or mentor.
13. How DO I become a NOMI SUPPORTING MEMBER?
Help us build and strengthen our emerging field and shape the future for Medical Intuition in healthcare! Individuals, Health and Wellness Providers, and Organizations are welcome to join us as NOMI Supporting Members to help us meet our goals of education, awareness and outreach.
14. I teach Medical Intuition. How can I PARTICIPATE?
NOMI welcomes all educators to join us in helping to build the field and practice of Medical Intuition, and to become a NOMI Individual Supporting Member or a Health and Wellness Provider Supporting Member.
